THUGS attacked the family home of Sadio Mane after he fluffed a penalty.
The Kop winger miss hit a crunch spot kick for Senegal – sending his team crashing out of the Africa Cup of Nations.
Furious fans took their anger out on Mane’s family homes after the devastating quarter-final loss to Cameroon last month, The Sun reports.
The 24-year-old’s family were forced to flee his home in Malika, near the capital Dakar, due to the attack.
A £26,000 SUV was also trashed in a further attack at his uncle’s home.
A source told The Sun: “They turned their fury on his car and completely trashed it.
“Mane’s uncle and his family have reported these persons to the police.
"We just hope they will get the punishment they deserve.”Mané has earned over 40 caps for Senegal since his debut in 2012.
In 2015, Mane was signed by Southampton, securing a dream £11.8 million move to the Premier League.
He transferred to Liverpool in 2016 for a fee of £34 million, making him the most expensive African player in history at that time.
This season he has netted 11 goals in 23 appearances for the Merseyside team.
