13 suspects to be arraigned in court but police say Entebbe, Nansana women killings challenging

The most common killings in the recent times will include the Entebbe and Nansana ones where 19 women have gone to meet their creator.

Police reports indicate at least 19 women have been killed and found dead in different areas in the Kampala and its surroundings.

Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesman in an interview on NBS Tv, revealed that the killings have tickled security, which he said explains why both Gen. Kale Kayihura and Gen. Henry Tumukunde were forced to camp in Entebbe.

Kayima explained: "We acknowledge the challenges and the right work from all the players. All we are saying is can we join hands. The constitution gives us that window of opportunity."

He went on: "We still have a challenge to detect the root cause. The readiness that we have is 100% to continue digging deeper until we get to the root cause."

Kayima added: "When IGP and Tumukunde are in Entebbe, they are all looking at the murder issue. They are joining hands to find a solution."

And further said: "A lot of intervention has been put in place, we are moving in the right direction. We have apprehended some people."

National Police Spokesman Asan Kasingye revealed that police has arrested 13 suspects in connection with the killings and expects them to be brought to court soon.
