Raggae / Dancehall artist, Bebe Cool made a list at the beginning of this
year, which left a lot of controversy and neck-grabbing on the musical
scene in Uganda. The rasta claimed that his list had the best musicians of
2017, and that anyone who didn’t appear on it was just sleeping in 2017 and
needs to up their game this year.

Reactions from various stars who were missing in action wasn’t sweet
either, as Radio and Weasel, Eddy Kenzo and Cindy had no kind words for the
Katono hit-maker.

The most contemptuous remark however by Bebe, was him saying the Radio and
Weasel had a terrible year, and that they just crushed an already big
Gutamiiza song by the B2C to make a collabo. In a nutshell, it all sounded
as a subtle jab at Eddy Kenzo, who also had a hit collabo Kapande with the
high-flying boy-band.

“We went and asked Eddy Kenzo for the collabo. Anyone that thinks that
anything else about that is free to have an opinion of their own.” Said the
boys in unison, who in fact were put as Number 1 on Bebe Cool’s list.

“We were flattered that a big name in the industry could compliment us like
that.” They agreed about the nice feeling of being on the rather
trouble-causing list.
