Uganda Cranes goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan has signed a 3-year contract with 5-time Zambian Premier League champions, Kabwe Warriors Football Club.
Ochan, who was supposed to join Zambian club, Nkana Red Devils but the move fell through after poor display in latest concluded CHAN tournament in Morrocco is set to leave KCCA FC, the club he joined in 2015 from SC Victoria University.
Ugandan based representative, Simon Musoke confirmed the development and revealed all is done pending paper work of securing his work permit as well as the International Transfer Certificate from FUFA and KCCA FC.
Kabwe Warriors FC is a Zambian football club based in Kabwe that plays in the top flight league.
They were relegated to division 1 in 2013/14 season. They host their games at Godfrey ‘Ucar’ Chitalu 107 Stadium in Kabwe.
Kabwe Warriors have won the Zambia Premier League in 1968, 1970, 1971, 1972 and lately 1987. They have also won the Zambian cup; 1967, 1969, 1972, 1984 and 1987; as well as Zambia Challenge Cup (1970, 1972, 1989, 1991, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2007).
