Three days following painful 2-1 defeat at the hands of Bright Stars at Champions Stadium in Mwererwe, Express FC have forced Minister, Nakiwala Kiyinji to step a side, appointing Hajji Hassan Bulwadda as the new chairman on interim basis for 6 months.
Nakiwala who succeeded Francis Ntalazi on June 1st, 2016 has received a lot of criticism from staunch fans after seeing Express FC struggle to win games this season.
Express FC, the only team that have never played in the lower leagues, are currently at the bottom of the league with 15 points from 18 games played so far, having won only 4 games, drawing 3 and losing 11 in the process.
It is rumoured that the new executive committee on a permanent basis will be unveiled on Monday.
