Masavu Vs Proline – Fisheries Ground, Bugonga

Express Vs Mbarara City – Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku

Relegation fight takes centre stage at Bugonga and Wankulukuku where Masavu and Express host Proline and Mbarara City respectively on Wednesday.

The two relegation six pointers provide chance for the winner to enlighten chances of survival.

At Wankulukuku, the Red Eagles are aware that a loss or a draw against Mbarara City will leave them closer to the drop than survival.

Express come into the game on the back of a 2-0 loss to Kirinya Jinja SS that left them 14th with 19 points while Mbarara City added a point off KCCA to move four points clear of the Red Eagles but only a place better.

Shafik Bisaso is likely to miss the services of team captain Steven Luswata and defender Ronnie Kisekka through in-house suspension and will rely on Ayub Kisaliita, Alfred Leku and Michael Birungi for inspiration.

The visitors will hope their experienced trio of Owen Kasule, Asuman Alishe and Ali Kimera are in fine form.

At Bugonga, Masavu seek to complete a double over Proline and create a three point gap over Mujib Kasule’s side.

Coming into the game, both teams have similar stats in the previous five meetings with three losses and two draws but Proline are yet to score in all those games.
