Diamond Platnumz is undoubtedly the most successful East African musician as per now. With all the amassed fame and fortune at such a young age, controversy and illicit behavior in the name of showbiz is not far from being expected from him.

The Tanzanian sensation, who is literally idolized in his home country, fell in hot soup when he shared videos of himself kissing and fondling two women(Hamisa Mobetto his baby momma and a mysterious white/Arab lady) in the same room.

After members of the Tanzanian Parliament demanded Diamond to be punished regardless of his celebrity status, suggesting harsh penalties including upto 10 years of a jail sentence; he was summoned to make a statement by the Police, and later by the ethics minister at TCRA. In the press conference, Diamond, who was sandwiched by the minister, and fellow musician Nandy. The songstress was also summoned over her leaked video, in which her backside was being groped by rapper Bill Nass, in just a knicker.

”We musicians have our own drama, and I admit I am a showbiz man, and I know I have the biggest following in this country. But I have been made to understand that anything you cannot do by the roadside shouldn’t be done on social media. I am glad I have learned a lot. To whoever was offended, please find a place in your heart to forgive me.” Chibu begged.
