Two time league champions Vipers have an opportunity to go top of the log when they host bottom placed Masavu at St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende.

The Venoms come into the game buoyant after the important 1-0 win over rivals SC Villa at Masaka and a win over Alex Gitta’s side will take them top of the log for the first time since October.

It’s a game that starts a busy schedule in which the former champions have to play five games in 10 days.

“It’s an important week for us since we have 5 games in 10 days and we have to attach a lot of importance in the remaining games starting with Masavu FC tomorrow,” said Golola, “The team is ready for the match tomorrow,” he added.

Masavu FC has players who can decide a game at any given moment. It will be a tough encounter since they are fighting relegation.

The hosts will miss the services of midfield gem Taddeo Lwanga who is suspended but welcome back Congolese import Moussa Mbayi who sat out the game against SC Villa.

Dan Birikwalira who missed the trip to Masaka through injury returns into the squad.

James Alitho begins his four match ban together with team manager Miguel Da Costa.
