Paul “Latest” Nkata has resigned from his post as URA FC head coach this evening after humiliating 7-2 defeat at the hands of reigning league champions KCCA FC at Startimes Stadium-Lugogo.

Nkata who who took over in December succeeding Ibrahim Kirya, decided to quit this evening and the club have confirmed his departure.

Coach Paul Nkata resigned after we lost 7-2 to KCCA. He affirmed the development himself. We thank him for the time he has served the club and wish him fruitful deliberations”, URA F.C Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Edward Kulubya confirmed to the media.

This was the second time Nkata was coaching URA FC. He was first released by URA on 18th June 2014 alongside former club doctor Jack Walugembe as Alex Isabirye returned for his second spell at the tax collectors’ side.
