“An artist is no artist without a manager.” Goes a popular worldwide saying (of course apart from Uganda). Tanzania’s music industry is undoubtedly doing better than any other in East and Central Africa recently, and the people that deserve the credit apart from the musicians themselves, are the managers.
Seven, born Christine Mosha in Lavington, Nairobi, Kenya; is the Head of Talents at Rockstar 4000 Record Label, which has gotten artists signed to Sony. She relocated to Moshi Tanzania at the age of 4, and was a presenter at Clouds FM before heading to MTV and Sony Music for successful years.
Her relationship with Ali Kiba is seen as stronger than that with the two other artists under her record label, Lady Jaydee and Baraka Da Prince before he left. Ali’s ex, actress Jokate Mwegelo once subtly blasted her for messing up her relationship with the “Mwana” hitmaker. It should be remembered that before his wedding, Ali already had 3 kids from 3 different mothers.
Artistes eating managers isn’t a new thing, but married artistes? It’s all together another thing.
