KCCA FC (Uga) 2-0 Al Ahly (Egy)

Uganda Premier League champions, KCCA FC have defeated 8-time CAF Champions League winners, Al Ahly of Egypt 2-0 at Mandela National stadium, Namboole this afternoon.

Al Ahly got early chances to win the game but were wasteful with Charles Lukwago even saving a penalty in the first half.

Two second half goals from Sadam Juma 73’ and a penalty from captain Timothy Awany in 90th minute sealed 3 points for KCCA FC.

Today’s win takes KCCA FC on joint 3 points lead with Township Rollers, followed by Esperance and Al Ahly both on 1 point but, Esperance Tunis and Township Rollers battle each other tonight at 10pm.

KCCA FC have now defeated four Arab clubs; Club Africain (Tunisia), FUS Rabat (Morocco), El Masry and Al Ahly (Egypt) on home turf.
