2018 Coca Cola Football Championship:

Buddo SS have this afternoon defeated Blessed Sacrament Kimanya 1-0 at Kakyeka Stadium in Mbrarara district to win the Copa Coca Cola title for the second time since 2009.

Frank Sebufu’s goal in the first minute was enough to give Buddo the title who have just conceded only two goals in the whole tournament.

Kimanya have played the whole tournament with only 11 players, after some failed to produce national identity cards as others had FUFA licenses.

Buddo emerged as favourites after progressing through Group E (Group of death) which had; Ryakasinga CHE, Iganga town View, Sebei College, Nakaseke International, Amuria SS and Kibuli SS unbeaten.

Agape schocked Kinja SS and won 1-0 to finish third overall.

This year's Copa Coca Cola edition was hosted by Mbarara High School.

Buddo SS, Blessed Sacrament Kimanya, Agape SS and St. Mary’s Kitende will now represent Uganda at East Africa Secondary School games in Rwanda in August.
