Striker Abraham Nduggwa has quit Masavu following yesterday’s relegation to the FUFA Big League. Nduggwa, who has earned two caps with Uganda Cranes confirmed the news that he is leaving Bugonga-based side.

Ndugwa was named in Cranes squad that played Sao Tome and Malawi friendlies in March early this year and scored one goal in 3-1 win over  Sao Tome and Principle.

“This has been my last game at the club, I didn’t plan to leave them at such a hard time but I have got to move on. I have not yet decided where I will be playing next season, but I am going to sit down with my agents to set my future around next week” Ndugwa said.

However, rumours say he has already signed with 3-time league winners, Vipers SC and only paper work is remaining for the deal to be finalized. URA FC is also interested in the services of the player.

Ndugwa scored six goals for Masavu FC in the concluded 2017/18 Azam Uganda Premier League.
