It is not the first time an upcoming Ugandan artist is coming to accuse an already established musician for ‘stealing’ and plagiarizing their song.
In the past we have had big names like Radio & Weasel, Irene Namubiru and Bebe Cool accused of stealing songs by upcoming musicians.
We cannot certainly conclude whether these accusations are stage managed to create cheap popularity or it’s indeed true the songs are stolen from the upcoming musicians because honestly speaking there is a thin line between what’s true and what’s not.
In a wake of a daunting new accusation, Da New Eagle’s production singer Henry Mwanje has accused Swangz Avenue signed singer Winnie Nwangi of plagiarising his song ‘’Togumenya’’ for her song ‘’Munnange’’
According to Henry, Winnie Nwagi bought the song from a one talented writer Izon T Ntege who copied and pasted henry’s song Togumenya while Writing Winnie’s Munnange.
Henry alleges that Izon was paid lots of money (one million) only to come and copy his song for Nwangi
