President Yoweri Museveni has told mourners fallen Bishop Mpalanyi Nkoyoyo did not die in a bar like many Ugandans do.
Bishop Nkoyoyo died Friday morning after suffering a pneumonia attack but he was also reported to have been fighting cancer.
President Museveni hailed the fallen man of God for his love for Namugongo.
The President also said: “Bishop Nkoyoyo died a good death. He died thinking about Namugongo, not dying in a bar drinking “Omwenge” like many do. I’m a part-time Christian but I know something about Christianity.”
