Songstress Juliana Kanyomozi has come out to sugarcoat and defend embattled city events promoter, Balaam Barugahara who is being accused by the family of the late music icon Mowzey Radio for swindling part of hefty dime which was meant to cater for food and burial arrangements.
The seemingly emotional Juliana couldn’t stomach the allegations about a man who she says stood with her and took responsibility in trying times when she lost her only son, Keron in 2014.
In so doing, she took to her Facebook page to pen her opinion on Balam, which we have reproduced below;
“My brother Balaam. You have the biggest heart I’ve ever seen. You are so selfless. I experienced your kind heart first hand in 2014. When my world literally fell apart, you swooped in like superman and handled everything. Don’t be discouraged, don’t ever change. We appreciate you. You are Godsent.”
According to the late singer’s brothers, Frank Ssekibogo and Meddie Ssebanjjwe, Balaam’s burial expenditure was insignificant and couldn’t add up in any away owing to the amount of dime which was received from State House and skinny tycoon Bryan White to give Radio a descent sendoff.
“We believe that 10m which Bryan White gave Balaam was swindled”, said Frank.
However, Balaam defended himself by displaying the receipts of how the said dime was fully spent. The rather heartbroken events promoter says Radio’s family thought that they would probably escape poverty from condolences collected.
