The UPDF has confirmed they are ready to start the process of recruiting reserve force to beef up security in Kampala Metropolitan Area.
The President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Yoweri Museveni directed a call-up of reserves to support enforcement of law and order in Kampala Metropolitan Area.
The army has released a statement to confirm dates for the recruitment of Local Defence Units (LDUs) from the districts of Kampala, Wakiso and Mukono.
