Police searched Edith Byanyima’s house Wednesday morning and found red clothing suspected to be for People Power group.
Edith is sister to Winnie Byanyima, Executive Director Oxfam International and wife to former Presidential candidate Dr. Kizza Besigye.
Winnie revealed: “We understand that the Deputy IGP ordered the search. We’ve also learnt that Edith is suspected to be distributing People Power T-Shirts.”
She explained: “I know Edith has been energised by the People Power Movt. If she is safe, she’s probably happily defiant!”
