Katikkiro of Buganda Owek. Charles Peter Mayiga has Called upon all citizens to rally their support behind Uganda Cranes.
Cranes will be taking on Cape Verde at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole this Saturday and a draw is just enough to for the team to qualify for 2019 Nations Cup in Cameroon.
In a well conveyed messege, Mayiga not only argues fans to come in big numbers but also cautions the players not to settle for less.
“I call upon all football lovers to Namboole on Saturday..i will be there..and we support the Uganda Cranes to realize our dream of going to AFCON finals…i don’t want to say that we need a draw but we need to beat them…”, he said.
This message appears to leave Bobi’s fans who had vowed to boycott Namboole with no other option but to attend the match and witness history.
