ARSENAL have reportedly been urged to fork out the £13.5million transfer fee for Christopher Nkunku by Paris Saint-Germain.
The French midfielder has emerged as a top target for the cash-strapped Gunners, but RB Leipzig have also indicated their interest.
According to L’Equipe, Arsenal will be able to secure the 21-year-old’s services for just £13.5m this summer despite reports previously claiming he would cost £30m.
But Les Parisiens are yet to receive a single bid for the France Under-21 star.
Unai Emery’s side failed to sign Nkunku in January after not being able to strike a deal with the Ligue 1 giants.
His current deal at the Parc des Princes does not expire until June 2020, but he wants regular first-team football.
He scored three goals and made two assists in 26 games for the Ligue 1 giants last season.
Nkunku’s agent Jose-Karl Pierre-Fanfan recently confirmed that a summer exit was an option for the youngster.
