Disappointed soccer fans are fuming on social media accusing city flamboyant Man Of God Elvis Mbonye for giving a false prophecy about the Uganda cranes.
Self styled Prophet Mbonye prophesied that the Cranes would win AFCON on penalties in the ongoing edition in Egypt, only for them to be ejected at the round of last 16 .
The Cranes were humbled by Senegal and sent packing back to Entebbe.
Now cranes fans are up in arm against Mbonye for prophesying lies and social media is on fire.
“…we are tired of lies, you owe us an apology”, One of the irate fan, Mutabaazi Jacob commented.
Fred Bbaale also commented, “these pastors should stop taking us for a ride, Mbonye you have to apologize to Ugandans”.
Another one with the same mind followed suit. “We can only forgive you when you apologize to us Mr. Mbonye”
Cranes woes have actually gone from bad to worse after FUFA on Saturday terminated the contract of head coach Sebastien Desabre by mutual consent.
Will pastor Mbonye issue a public apology?
