After a string of pulsating teasers and a viral tweet from Patoranking’s official Twitter handle that took over Ugandan Twitter, Nigerian reggae-dancehall singer Patoranking is officially set to perform in Uganda at the Lugogo cricket oval, on the 25th October 2019. At a musically thrilling press launch jam-packed with all-round media houses, influencers and socialites, organizers; Evoke Uganda and event partners; Ubuntu Connect addressed the press on ongoing preparations to pull-off a memorable concert that will be publically acclaimed as the epitome of enjoyments this year.

Patoranking’s team from Nigeria earlier on in June this year held a press conference in Uganda alongside event organizers and partners to officially release his newest album “Wilmer” to the Ugandan market. It was at this gathering that soft-affirmations of the dancehall artist returning to Uganda first started swirling. The Suh-different hit maker needs no introduction with his sun- soaked sounds and massive hits splurging around the airwaves. His most recent collabo with Uganda’s fresh bouy; Fik Fameica, Omu Bwati stands as one of the country’s most celebrated musical anthems of the year.

“It’s been a longtime coming prepping for this show. My team and I have equipped ourselves with well-suited sponsors, partners and service providers to enable us put on a show for the ages. Aside from the main show, there’s a meet and greet at Thrones and an after party in the works. There’s a lot to look forward to this October.” Elated Timothy Bukenya, curator of Evoke Uganda.
Ugandan acts slated to perform at the event are Vinka, Cindy, Gravity Omutujju, Big Trill, Bennie Gunter, John Blaq and Evoke night’s reigning act; the Evoke band. The event will also be bathed in the glory of Live DJ from Sesse, Naselow, Cisse, Fem DJ, Kasbaby, Albreezy, Mackus and Irakoze.
