Days after seasoned journalist and senior reporter Joseph Sabiti NBS TV, it was just a rumor that he had signed mega deal with an anonymous NGO.
Sabiiti forced his way out by After tendering his resignation letter.He further made his intention to leave clear as he apparently went AWOL dumping his TV duties. He was only waiting for a reply from his bosses!
The Kamwokya based station CEO, Kin Karisa tried to tie him down with a massive offer worth considering but Sabiiti remained unshaken. He apparently told Karisa in a closed door meeting that the there was no way he could reverse his decision. That’s when he told him that he was joining Action Aid!
Joseph Sabiiti subsequently bid farewell to his colleagues at Next Media Services.
“Good afternoon, I will be taking a break from active Journalism for a while. Thank you for the amazing four years at Media Plaza, it has been every inch worth it and Next Media will always remain home,” Read Joseph Sabiiti’s farewell to his colleagues.
Sabiiti’s departure adds to the exodus of workers that have recently dumped NBS TV for greener pastures mention Sheila Tusiime Mugisha and Innocent Nabaasa from the newsroom not forgetting the former popular One on One with Tamale Mirundi show host Simon Muyanga Lutaaya.
