A fatal accident along Mbarara Masaka highway has killed three people on Thursday morning.
The incident involved a motor vehicle registration number UAM 338Y Ranger Rover and a motorcycle Bajaj Boxer registration number UEU 993F. It happened at 6:00 AM in Rwegajo Biharwe.
ASP Samson Kasasira Rwiizi Region spokesperson said all three occupants of both the vehicle and motorcycle died on the spot.
The Driver of the Ranger Rover has been identified as Rweranga Frank while the two occupants of the motorcycle are yet to be identified.
Kasaasira said all bodies have been taken to Mbarara Regional referral hospital mortuary.
Cause of accident has not been established as yet but he said investigations are still ongoing.
He urged all motorists to be extra careful while driving on the road and avoid speeding especially during this festive season.
