The second round of the 2019-20 Startimes Uganda Premier League will commence on the 7th January 2020 with seven match day games on the fixture.
This was announced on by the chief executive officer of the Uganda Premier League Bernard Bainamani.
The current table leaders Vipers sports club will start their second-round campaign at home against Kyetume Fc while the defending champions KCCA Fc will look to close gap on the Venoms when they host Mbarara City fc Startimes stadium, Lugogo.
Sc Villa will make a short visit to Bombo to face URA Fc while Tooro United will host Onduparaka fc at a venue yet to be confirmed.
Fourth placed Bul fc will travel away to face Bright Stars while bottom placed Proline fc will start their relegation fight with a visit to Luzira to face Maroons fc at Luzira Prisons Grounds.
Busoga United will host Express fc at the Mighty Arena in Jinja while relegation aspirants Police fc will entertain Wakiso Giants at Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium, Wakiso.
The league will come to climax on the 16th day of May 2020 and on all the eight games of match day 30 will be played on the same date and time.
The Venoms are currently the table leaders followed by the defending champions KCCA Fc while Police, Bright Stars and Proline fc are on the bottom of the table.
