Experienced Maureen Nantume is no part of Golden Band, this Website understands.
While being interview on a local TV recently, Nantume opened up that she is no longer working with the band that split with Eagles Production.
“There’s a time when a person is officially tired. But to be clear, I am no longer part of Golden Band, if you want to book me, contact me directly,” the singer confirmed.
Golden Band has seen big artists like Ronald Mayinja, Stecia Mayanja quit over unclear reasons and now Nantume is the latest.
Mesach Ssemakula also hinted on retirement in the nearest future!
Prior, Golden Band quit Eagles Production in 2014 after co-founders started bickering.
Singers who included, Ronald Mayinja, Stecia Mayanja, Catherine Kusaasira, Mesach Ssemakula, Grace Sekamatte among others formed Golden Band. Geofrey Lutaaya and his wife Irene Namatovu formed the Da Nu Eagles band.
Nantume is known for songs like akambe, nkuze, kiyungu, ngenze kufumba among others.
