Is a mere ex-girlfriend entitled to share half of property when she breaks up with the boyfriend?
Info coming through indicates that Tanasha Donna has dragged singer Diamond Platnumz to court, demanding for equal share of property.
Tanasha, who spent 2 years with Diamond bonking tubeless called it quits recently and went back to her parents. She accused the singer of unleashing his monster reptile on numerous babes.
Now the court in TZ rules that sharing of property will based on her contribution. According the judge in charge of the case, the contribution may be direct or indirect.
He also ruled that the party demanding for the share must prove his or her contribution towards the acquisition of the said property.
The Judge gave the directions when delivering the judgement in a matrimonial property case where former spouses were embroiled in a fight on the mode of sharing their assets.
Tanasha had been apparently granted only half of the matrimonial home but not a share of any of the property owned by the Tetema hit star which prompted her to move to court.
She was a declaration that she is entitled to half of all properties acquired during her marriage to ex-hubby.
Diomond listed three properties- Two plots of land in Dar es salaam, a radio and TV station. Tanasha swore in court that she financial and non-financial contribution towards the purchase or development of all properties. In particular, she claimed that she partly financed the construction of the matrimonial property in Dar es salaam.
While testifying, she said her contribution was made through business investments going to the expansion of Wasafi Radio Station.
