Amelia Kyambadde has scored highly whenever she turns up for the Presidential Covid-19 national address.

Amelia, the minister of trade and industry raised her voice to plead with President Yoweri Museveni on the matter of boda bodas.

She hailed the President: “Thank you His Excellency for extending the working hours from 2:00pm to 5:00pm for the delivery guys (Bodas and Bikes).”

The minister begged: “Please let police return bikes they had impounded.”

And the President ordered: “With immediate, I have given them amnesty.”

The show of mercy for the ordinary Ugandan, has attracted her myriads of positive messages.

Ugandans on social media went ballistic and poured out love to her.

StayHome@beewol: This Amelia Kyambadde woman has got a problem. Every time the President gives a speech, she is the one raising real issues and giving Mr. 1986 an indication of what is actually on the ground. Outsmarting other VIPs all the damn time. I think I like her very much.

COVID-19 UG@Omuyaaye1: Lady Amelia Kyambadde should unseat Kadaga oba adaaga biki from speaker of parliament

Mathias Ssemanda@MathiasSsemanda: There is a way Amelia Kyambade spins everything from a common person’s perspective. She is the MVP in these pressers.

GENO ERIC@genoeric1: Whenever Hon. Amelia Kyambade holds the mic, I know she is representing the omuntu wawansi.

Hon. Amelia Kyambadde to President Museveni: Thank you for extending the operating time for boda bodas and bicycles until 5:00 pm. However, their bikes were confiscated.

President Museveni: Bikes that were confiscated will be returned.

onyait odeke@OnyaitOdeke: It’s refreshing to find a ‘normal’ person who is a minister. The rest are so detached and don’t understand the reality in which Ugandans live. Well done Kyambade

Cathy@Cathy65210: If all ministers were just like kyambade all Ugandans would be fully served but we still have alot of “Abanyampi” in the system

Hope Nankunda@nankunda20: We appreciate your wisdom Hon #Amelia you always remember the needs of the underprivileged Ugandans.

sekabojja daniel mubiru@macdanielsons: Hon Amelia kyambadde abeewoooo.. You made the *omuntu wawansi speak in Nigerian eloquence*

kiwanda Isaac@isakwanda: @AmeliaAKyamb is always representing us the people. And I hope
@PoliceUg were alert. Officers at kasangati had asked Ugx 300,000 to release one. I love the way she has guts to talk to the president with respect and she fights for the common man, hence amnesty for our poor Boda Boda, keep it up Hon. Amelia I love your style not like other many yes ministers

Kawuma PaulFlag of Uganda@KawumaPaul4: No reshuffle needed. @AKyambadde and @JaneRuth_Aceng, they are really doing a good job, the right thing at the right time, thanks ministers

Matovujeje96@matovujeje96: Shez always perfect…..en she doesn’t fear to say things that heart pipo especially omuntu waawansi

Blair@Blair26635682: Thanks Hon. Amelia for remembering omuntu wawansi,,, if all ministers are like you,, Uganda could be moving smoothly

Tibamuleke Yaziddi@TYaziddi: And if u analyse all president addresses during this COVID_19 she has attended, she portrays that she knows what is happening on the ground than other ministers.

SSALI NIHAB@NihabSsali: @AmeliaAKyamb I like your presentation, because some of those who brief the president don’t really look at the side of the wanainchi and the president leaves us in suspense sometimes. But when you come in at least some conclusions are made

Mayanja Brian@Bmayanja1: A leader needs companions who can check his moves, not only those who bow to every move. It is our hope if we had many @AKyambadde. To speak in moments of fear and tyranny.
