When you strike the right nodes, music pays like crazy. This has been proved by the recent revelation of how much WCB Wasafi records chief Diamond Platnumz pays for rent monthly.
In an interview with Wasafi TV, the WCB Wasafi records new signee Zuchu stated that her boss Diamond Platnumz pays a monthly rent of 40 million Tanzanian shillings which translates into 90 million shillings. This rent covers both his mansion where he lives and his WCB Wasafi records office complex.
Zuchu was speaking during an interview with Wasafi TV when she made the revelation.
“Music is business just like any other. Last time my boss (Diamond Platnumz) spoke and said that he pays 40 million Tanzanian shillings for rent monthly. What other kind of money do you want? The money you can get in any other business you can still get it in music.” Revealed Zuchu on Wasafi TV interview.

Early this year, word went round that Diamond had been dragged to court by his landlord for failing to meet his rent obligations. Well, it turns out the rent itself is so huge. The matter was resolved peacefully out of court and they are co-existing harmoniously. Diamond has been living a very expensive life ranging from a palatial mansion, expensive cars, clothes, jewelry and bags. Although his baby mama Tanasha Donna recently accused him of having fake jewelry and bags.
Tanasha Donna on another side is looking for her own house after they broke up with her baby daddy Diamond Platnumz. Early this months, she posted several pictures of herself inspecting potential properties in Nairobi. She sought the assistance of one of the best real estate agent in Nairobi in her search for the house. She even posted the photos of them together raising eyebrows among citizens.
