Tanzanian singing sensation Nasibu Abdul popularly known as Diamond Platinumz has once again put his country on the map by becoming the first East African artist to get over one billions views on a YouTube account

It is not the first time that Diamond breaks and sets new records on social media. In 2008 the husky voiced singer set a new high when he became the first East African artist to get one million subscribers on You Tube.

First forward, two years later the number of subscribers on his You Tube have more than doubled and now Diamond has become the first musician to garner over a billion views on his account

Taking to Instagram with excitement the singer thanked his loyal fans for the endless support  as he announced his latest achievement
