It seems like controversial man of God pastor Augustine Yiga won’t just wait for government to lift the ban on churches for him to begin asking money from his followers
Perhaps after being hit hard by current financial melt down brought about by Coronavirus ,the ‘Kawaala’ based pastor devised some creative ways of getting money from his followers even without them attending service in person
In one of the videos making rounds online Yiga can be heard asking his followers on TV to raise their faith and send him a half of the monies they have in possession in order to attract God’s blessing
”Just raise your faith and share what ever you have with God. What i mean is that if you have 1 million just divide it in the middle and send me 500,000. God will richly bless you” Yiga is heard asking his followers to send through their tithe on mobile money
The city pastor was recently arrested for misleading the public on the seriousness of the Coronavirus
