Musician David Lutalo is one of the most influential singers in Uganda. Over the years, he has always attracted numbers.
It is without any surprise that any political group would be interested in having him on board for campaigns come 2021.
But the “Tugende” hitmaker is reluctant. He says he can only campaign for a political group if he is paid. The singer hinted on people because many expected him to follow the bandwagon, “I am a businessman and I can only support People Power if they pay me the amount I deserve. The business should be treated as a business,” he said.
David Lutalo instead emphasised that he has never received free money from him so if he pays, he will sing at his rallies.
