Uganda Cranes forward Emmanuel Arnold Okwi is set to return to Tanzanian top flight football in Simba Fc.
Okwi mutually parted ways with the Egyptian Premier League side Alexandria Al Ittihad after not getting enough playing time with the club.
Emmanuel Okwi joined the Egyptian league in August last year on a two year contract and made 14 appearances in the league scoring only two goals and one assist for his side.
The lockdown found Okwi in the country and since then he has never returned to Egypt despite its league resuming in May.
The former Villa player who has also received offers from Saudi Arabia, scored two goals at the 2019 AFCON finals in Egypt and has played 78 times at the National team.
Emmanuel Okwi has previously played at Sports Club Villa, Simba, Etoile du Sahel, Young Africans and Sonderjyske in Denmark.
