Residents in Kagadi district are mourning the sudden death of a 58-year-old Primary school teacher whose lifeless body was discovered hanging on a coffee tree on Wednesday night.
Dansan Twesime, a senior teacher at Nyamiti Primary school, Nyamiti Cell in Muhorro Town Council where he was a resident is said to have ended his own life under unclear circumstances.
Locals who found his lifeless body dangling on a coffee tree near his home have described the deceased as a generous and peace-loving man who never raised his voice at anyone in his village.
Grieving relatives are also still trying to understand what could have prompted the deceased to call time on his life.
Stephen Kamar, the Kagadi District Police Commander says a postmortem report from the Kagadi General hospital mortuary confirms that Twesime indeed died by hanging and investigations into the death have already started.
