Patoranking has previously released two albums and today, he drops his third, ’Three” with a total of 12 tracks. Nigeria’s fast-rising TELZ (Burna Boy, Olamide) and Zimbabwe/South Africa’s MR KAMERA (Mr Eazi, Yemi Alade, Netflix’s Blood and Water) head up the album’s international production team.

Three features some of Africa’s very best like Nigeria’s Tiwa Savage, Flavour, Kenya’s Sauti Sol, Ghana’s King Promise and also includes a number of genres like Reggae, Afropop and highlife.

Three Album includes tracks like Mon Bébé feat Flavour, Yo Body, Whine It feat Sauti Sol, Nobody, Abule, Black Girl Magic, Matter feat Tiwa Savage, Brr, Do Me, Odo Bra feat King Promise, Lion in the Jungle, Love is the Answer. “Abule” is one of the biggest songs that is already receiving massive airplay. “Abule”is the word for village or hood in the Yoruba dialect, and the track, a celebration of PATORANKING’s Lagos neighbourhood, Ebute Metta, and of hoods worldwide, is shaping up to be his most universal release to date. It was the most played afrobeat song on Audiomack during its first week of release, reaching 1 million plays on that platform alone in under 5 days.

This Album stamps the fact that Patoranking is one of the finest reggae and dancehall musicians in Africa. His Afropop collaborations like Girlie O, My Woman My Everything, Love You Die have also made him a continental icon. Patoranking has also worked with U.S. labels EMPIRE and VP Records, and touring with hip-hop/soul icon Lauryn Hill. His tracks have generated more than 260 million views on YouTube and over 170 million streams across major DSPs.

In addition to Three, PATORANKING featured on the new version of Bob Marley’s “One Love” alongside Stephen Marley, Skip Marley and other members of the international music community, with all proceeds going to support Unicef’s Covid-19 relief efforts on top of joining TikTok’s #SpiritsUp campaign, an initiative by the video-sharing social media platform to support its recent launch in Africa, with the #AbuleDanceChallenge. As part of the partnership, TikTok SA is donating funds for communities across Africa in need of Coronavirus relief.

He also recently created the ALU Patoranking Scholarship, offering 10 fully-paid scholarships for promising students from across Africa to attend the prestigious African Leadership University, and was featured in Forbes Africa’s 30 under 30 class for 2020 plus encouraging fans to rep their respective hood/area/zanga/zone/ends by creating custom graphics at repyourabule.com.
