Police in Kawala has launched investigations into circumstances under which a 26year old woman was raped and dumped at the northern bypass opposite libigi sewerage plant.
The body whose identity is yet to be ascertained was discovered by Kawaala locals in the morning and the deceased was clad in a nevi blue dress with orange stripes and long hair.
Fred Enanga police mouthpiece says preliminary investigations indicate that when the body was searched, police found fresh sperm oozing out of her private parts.
Enanga says they suspect she could have been raped from another destination and her lifeless body dumped around the sewage plant.
Enanga says the deceased was also found with defense injuries bubbles oozing out of her mouth which signals that she could have been suffocated to death as she tried to fight.
Enanga is asking all members of the public within Kaawala, Kawempe, and the surrounding areas who have known of a missing female adult who matches her description to report to the police.
He has also cautioned women against moving in the night.
