The latest remarks of the  National Unity Platform -NUP’S Muhammed Segirinya, parliamentary aspirant Kawempe North have taken social media by storm.

Segirinya has got many thinking the huge dose of teargas he galloped on Tuesday, could have distorted his ability to think normally after statements he uttered on his recovery bed.

He was among the NUP party members that had it rough in the hands of security personnel on Tuesday 3rd November at the residence of Bobi wine in Magere.

Segirinya who sustained minor injuries and a good dose of teargas is currently under bed rest, however, that hasn’t stopped the vocal MP aspirant from speaking about the new Uganda that NUP plans to have.

Segirinya claims NUP once in power plans to shut down all government prisons like Kitalya, Luzira among others, and transform them into arcades and shopping centers.

He says the new Uganda will have no cages for criminals.

He has advised all prison wardens and officers to start applying for other jobs elsewhere as NUP gears up for 2021 victory!

Following the brutal arrest of NUP presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi wine, police was forced to fire teagas at NUP supporters and party members who were demanding for the release of their party president.
