We can say without a doubt that it’s been an eventful experience for the National Unity platform-NUP party presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine as he continues to campaign in the West Nile region.

The NUP presidential candidate started his journey in Pakwach where he was gloriously welcomed by a procession of his supporters without any form of interruption from security forces at about 10 am.

Bobi wine failed to only meet a limited number of local leaders as earlier planned because the crowds followed him to the venue that turned into a rally.

He later arrived at  Nebbi district amidst ululations and excitement from crowds that ushered him into the campaign venue.,

Kyagulanyi entered Nebbi SS grounds for the first time ever to emphasize his campaign manifesto to overly excited supporters.

Kyagulanyi arrived in the company of Mityana East legislator Francis Zaake, NUP Secretary-general among others.

Kyagulanyi who spoke to an excited crowd chanting his name Bobi asked the crowd to join his struggle for power that appeals to this generation.

While addressing the rally Bobi expressed empathy towards the elderly People of Nebbi district who he insinuated was languishing in poverty,

”I greet you, my brothers and sisters, in the almighty name of God, When I got here I was thinking of so many things, but my heart was touched by an old man who had no shoes, his name is Anetch, When I look at Muzei Anetch Iknow what all old people are going through all over West Nile region and northern Uganda  …..I am a Musician and a Ghetto youth, I have already told you that I don’t only come here to look for votes, I come here to ask you to join the mission for our generation.”Bobi said

Bobi will head to Arua the place where chaotic scenes played out in 2018 when his Bodyguard Yassin Kawuuma was shot dead while taking a bullet for him.

Bobi told his supporters that it is the exact reason he chose to start his campaigns in the West Nile region.
