Fire spitting Democratic Party Presidential candidate – DP Norbert Mao has reacted to the National Vice Chairperson Dennis Mukasa Mbidde’s public declaration to support the NUP party president Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine.
Mao says that the party will not entertain acts of double standards among its members where a member is serving 2 masters at a time.
While addressing a rally at Busimbi division playground in Mityana municipality on Tuesday, Mao noted that many people pretend to be DP party supporters yet they are affiliated to other political parties.
Both the DP National Treasurer Mary Babirye Kabanda and the National Vice Chairperson Dennis Mukasa Mbidde have publicly declared their support to National Unity Platform-NUP party presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu.
Mao says that unlike in the past when people used to quit DP and later return to the party, the option will no longer be applicable and the party is ready to remain with a few people members who are committed to the cause of the party.
