All is not well for the Kampala City Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago who has been dashed to Nairobi, Kenya for treatment, reportedly in a critical state.
Lukwago is said to have been transferred to Aghakhan hospital in Nairobi after his unknown illness worsened.
He used the Uganda Airlines that departed from Entebbe to Nairobi at 9 pm local time on Tuesday.
However, despite reports of his deteriorating health, members in his inner circles claim he is progressing well and there is nothing to worry about.
Prior to the transfer, he was hospitalized at Rubaga and Mulago Hospitals.
They claim he was simply advised by a private consultant at Rubaga hospital, to get more specialized treatment in Agahkhan.
Much as the underlying complications have not been addressed, sources close to Lukwago claim he is undergoing a comprehensive checkup to ascertain the cause of respiratory issues and general body illness.
