The youngest presidential candidate, 24-year-old humorist John Katumba, is combing the Bunyoro region looking for votes ahead of the January 2021 general polls.
While speaking at a rally in Hoima City on Monday evening he promised, among other things to add value to the music and Boda Boda sectors in Uganda.
Katumba says these not only employ the majority of the youth but are also potential employment for millions of youths, whether educated or not.
He says if elected his government would reduce the cost of a Bajaj motorcycle Price from 5 million shillings to 2.5 million so that many youths can afford.
Katumba also promised to improve the music industry by building free music studios across the country.
He says music is also a source of income for many youths but they need to better the quality of their songs.
