Just like rumors pointing to his death, the speculation surrounding his illness can now come toa rest.

It has been confirmed by the ministry of health that the vocal Muslim cleric contracted COVID-19 and died from it.

A tweet from the permanent secretary Ministry of Health has confirmed this development while tweeting back at NBS TV English news anchor Sheila Nduhukire.

The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Diana Atwine in a response tweet hinted that COVID19 was the cause of his death.
Atwine reacted to Nduhukire ‘s tweet announcing the death of Muzaata.

However, we can’t exactly confirm if her reaction was confirmation that Muzaata died of COVID-19 or if she was simply passing a message on COVID-19.

The lifeless body of Muzaata is still at the International Hospital Kampala (IHK) where he was hospitalized 2 weeks ago.

Muzaata was rushed to the hospital after a serious health-related attack.
