Vibrant crowds continue to follow the NUP Presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi, AKA Bobi Wine wherever he steps foot as he looks for votes.
The story is the same in the Bududa district where Kyagulanyi has held his first campaign meeting for the day.
Excited and fearless crowds chanting Bobi Bobi filled up the narrow roads of the hilly district while ushering him in.
They followed Bobi’s convoy as he stood out of his ride while waving back at them and occasionally flashing the people power fist sign.
He later addressed his supporters at the designated venue.
Kyagulanyi told the people of Bududa that Museveni’s government of acting discriminatively and refusing to compensate victims who lost their land to mudslides like it has been done in western Uganda.
Kyagulanyi says despite being relocated as a result of national disaster, the victims still remain the bonafide owners of that land and deserve to safeguard their land.
He also observed that the state of the roads in Bududa was appalling.
Kyagulanyi proceeds to Kapchorwa and Kween today.
On Thursday he campaigned in Bukedi districts of Kibuku and Pallisa, Budaka through Namutamba successfully despite a few incidents of teargas to disperse NUP supporters.
