It was a sad Friday last week after the death announcement of one of the biggest person in the Muslim community, Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata Batte.

Apparently, Sheikh Muzaata succumbed to Diabetes and pressure at International Hospital Kampala after a fortnight of fighting for his life in ICU. The outspoken iconic sheikh’s body was laid to rest on Saturday in Kigogwa, Wakiso district.

His burial ceremony attracted people from all walks of life, who gave him a decent send off he  truly deserved.

Now his family, friends and well-wishers have so far held Three ‘Duwas’ at his home in Kawempe. Day 3 Duwa attracted songbird Rema and boo, Hamza Ssebunya. The couple was too close to the fallen Sheikh.

Surprisingly, star singer, Eddy Kenzo was also in attendance. The mourners were treated to a feast of Pilawo and drinks.
