National Unity Platform-NUP strongman, Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine visited Kanungu on Thursday morning to campaign for votes 2021.
The NRM Vice Chairman of Western Region Hon. Chris Baryomunsi is the MP Kinkizi East, in Kanungu district.
Kyagulanyi blasted Baryomunsi also the state Minister for Housing for boasting in parliament yet roads in his area are currently in a very poor state.
He preached the gospel of unity and equality while criticizing the regime for promoting tribalism.
Kyagulanyi again condemned police for being brutal toward his supporters by beating and arresting them.
Kanungu district comprises two counties;Kinkiizi East and Kinkiizi west with the twelve sub-counties of Kihihi, Kambuga, Nyamirama, Rugyeyo, Rutenga, Kayonza, Mpungu, Kinaaba, Katetete, Nyakinoni, Nyanga, and Kanyantorogo, and the four town councils of Kanungu, Kihihi, Butogota, and Kambuga.
It is bordered by Rukungiri district to the north and east, Kabale district to the south-east, Kisoro district to the south-west, and the theDemocratic Republic of Congo to the west.
Kyagulanyi is in Kanungu, Rukungiri, and Mitooma districts on Thursday, December 17.
