Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba is officially the commander of the elite Special Forces Command-SFC in a handover ceremony that happened at the headquarters in Entebbe.
Kainerugaba congratulated the outgoing SFC commander Maj Gen James Birungi for a job well done saying he worked with the utmost distinction.
He also thanked the Chief of Defence Forces-CDF, Gen David Muhoozi, for making time to preside over the handover ceremony that happened at the newly commissioned SFC headquarters in Entebbe.
He has a second opportunity to lead a force that has been in existence for almost 35 years.
He informed the CDF that his team would front the election period to play its part in providing security for our people.
”We have done it in the past and we are going to do it again,” he said
