Flamboyant DP presidential candidate Hon Nobert Mao is once again in the news after a disheartened man based in London recorded a video accusing him of being too close to his wife during the ongoing presidential campaigns.

Martin Kayanja, a Ugandan ‘Nkuba Kyeyo’ based in Europe made a 2 minutes and 41 seconds video stating how Mao’s closeness to his wife Beatrice Kayanja  not only makes him uncomfortable but also jeopardizes his respect as a Muganda man.

In the same video, the seemingly calm and well spoken man goes on to allege how his wife left for Uganda in March at the beginning of the  year but unfortunately the Coronavirus Pandemic found her here and like most people around the world her plans to return to the UK were halted because of lock down.

Mr Kayanja goes on to allege that it is during that period that her wife (Beatrice) met Mao and then suddenly expressed an interest to run for the office of Kampala Mayor.

According to Kayanja, his wife was eventually given a DP card to run for the position of Mayor and it from that time that her relationship with Mao grew so exponentially.

It is therefore this ever growing chemistry between Mao and Beatrice that has bothered Mr Kayanja to the point of recording a video begging the seasoned politician to distance himself from his wife.

In the clip Kayanja can be seen humbly begging Mao to give his wife space to concentrate on her marriage and kids.

Mao himself is now a single man after Justice Godfrey Namundi dissolved his marriage with wife Naomi Achieng Adong following a petition filed by the latter in 2017.
