The Law Development Center –LDC has summoned 8 Clerkship Bar-course students attached to the high court commercial Division after recording a video dancing to the controversial Tumbiza sound hit song by singer Eric Opoka aka Mr.Eezzy.
The students landed in hot soup after the recorded video went viral, attracting the attention of the commercial division court and the head, Bar course at L.D.C.
These 8 recorded themselves pulling out the hottest strokes while in the court temple.
The students include Kakidi Ann, Nambafu Annet. Kalungi Kellen, Nabirye Zeridah Mary, Nyinamasiko Gloria, Kyomuhendo Justine, Kamaliza Immaculate, and Basemera Edith.
Lady Justice Mugenyi and other Judiciary administrators first summoned the students for acting in a disreputable way at the Judiciary.
After which, the Acting Head of the Commercial Division of High Court Justice demanded an apology from them.
The panicking students immediately penned down their apologies to the commercial court asking for lenience over their naughty behavior.
However, the apologies have not saved them as they have been summoned by the LDC over the same matter.
They are to appear at the office of the Head, Bar course L.D.C today
The summon is signed by Victor Omega on behalf of the head bar course, a copy of which Galaxy FM has seen.
Tumbiza Sound was recently banned by the Uganda Communications Commission –UCC after complaints from the ministry of health –MOH that the song was not promoting the message of covid 19.
Ezzey last week met with officials from both the MOH and the UCC where it was agreed that the singer releases a remix of the song promoting SOP’s.
It was agreed that the two entities meet the costs for the remix.
