In the twist and turns, NBS TV journalist Samson Kasumba has boldly claimed that NUP darling, Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine is still half baked to lead a country like Uganda.
According to Kasumba, Bobi Wine is incapable to steer Uganda to great heights because he is dishonest and his character doesn’t put him near the picture of the President.
In a live Facebook video with Remmy Bahati, Samson expressed his disappointment with the leading opposition honcho for questioning NBS TV’s objectivity towards election reporting. He said much as Bobi has a unique, incredible and an inspiring story, he is not yet up to the task.
“I think one of the most incredible stories of our generation is that of Hon. Kyagulanyi Ssentamu. A man who started from nowhere…and he is now our presidential candidate who has garnered 35% of the votes at least from what we have…”, he said before adding;
“… i my own reservation whether can lead a country like Uganda or not. Can he lead it or not? I don’t think so but should he try too? let him have a try. I think that the population of Uganda has a right to gamble with whoever they want, then they’ll find out that he couldn’t…We have better persons to lead the country than Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, good as he is. With all honesty, I think Bobi Wine is still incapable of leading this country and he has publicly shown that,”.
Last weekend, Bobi Wine went all out and punched holes in the election results from the 14th January presidential polls NBS TV aired out.
In a letter dated 27th January and directly addressed to the Next Media CEO Mr Kin Kariisa, the Ghetto champion expressed his disappointment in the way the Naguru based station established it own election tally center, contrary to gov’t directive that no individual was allowed to release results except the Electoral Commission.
Since then the relationship between Kariisa’s men and Bobi Wine is broken.
