Just over a year ago, singer Evelyn Lagu was bedridden and fighting for her life until good samaritans like Don Mugabi and Balaam Barugahara intervened with financial support something that saw her recover from the unknown illness.

About a month ago, the internet was awash with the news that Evelyn Lagu who had turned a gospel artist as a way of thanking God for saving her from the previous illness broke and the call to action to save her life was a kidney transplant.

However, the transplant that is set to be done in India was costly for the singer to afford and therefore asked her fans and the public to come to her rescue.

Turkey-based Tycoon, Don Mugabi has responded instantly with a contribution of UGX 2 Million that was delivered at her home in Zzana.

The money was delivered by his Ugandan aid, a one Shamim in cash.
